7 COMMON MISTAKES WHEN MAKING ADS ON INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK

Instagram advertising can be a great way to generate leads and increase sales, but you have to do it right.

Unfortunately, there are common mistakes many  jordan phone number data marketers make when activating ad campaigns. This leads to campaigns falling flat, earning plenty of impressions or views but failing to achieve the desired goals.

Next, I want to tell you about some of the most common mistakes I encounter when auditing clients’ campaigns when they ask me for advice. Let’s get started…

1. They use the wrong campaign objective:

The campaign objective is chosen right at the beginning of the ad creation process and is what actually drives the entire advertising campaign.

The objective lets the platform know what you want to achieve with your Facebook advertising campaign and helps you get there. Facebook has 11 campaign objectives: Brand Awareness / Reach / Traffic / Engagement / App Installs / Video Views / Lead Generation / Messages / Conversions / Catalog Sales / Store Traffic.

Knowing how to choose the objective Facebook offers you in Ad Manager is key and very important to getting the results you’re looking for.

2. Use only interest-based audiences:

Interest-based audiences are a one of the biggest challenges for marketing management in 2024 good starting point, but to get the most out of your advertising, you should test different types of audiences to find out what works for your specific business. I recommend testing audiences not only based on interests, but also using behavioral ones. It’s also important to use audience targeting and exclusion features to target your ads to audiences who might find your message relevant.

3. Using an audience that is too large or too small:

Another common ad mistake has to do with audience size. There’s no hard and fast rule about how big an audience you should target. It really depends on your Facebook advertising objective, your industry, your budget, and other variables.

Obviously, you’ll need to adjust these numbers to your business. Businesses with a small audience and budget (like a local business) will have a smaller audience size. Why is audience size so important? If your ad audience is too small, you’ll struggle to spend your advertising budget. Or, your ad will be shown too frequently to users, causing them to become annoyed or stop watching altogether due to ad fatigue. If your  kuwait data audience is too large, you’ll be spending a lot of money reaching people who aren’t truly qualified, and conversions won’t happen.

4. Do not use videos in brand communication:

Everyone loves videos. They’re engaging, yes, even in ads. Videos hold users’ attention much longer than images. And this gives you a better chance of getting your advertising message across. Facebook also likes video ads; they know they work to keep users on their platform longer. In short, if you’re not using videos in your Facebook ads, you’re missing out on capturing the attention of your potential customers.
